Buy this odd-looking, yet extremely handy device if you have a hard-to-reach spot that needs constant attention. Especially useful for the back or if you need to apply a good amount of pressure on spots such as the bottom of the foot. Things I like best about it include:
-it’s lightweight
-handles positioned so you can keep pressure on a spot while rubbing
-is in the shape of a “hook” so virtually no spot is out of reach
Intended for those who need to regularly massage out tense areas in the muscles, it’s a very useful tool- and cheaper than therapy! Also recommend Treat Your Own Spinal Stenosis if you suffer from chronic back pain.

I love the thera cane! I’ve had muscle-related back problems for over 10 yrs. However, the last 2 yrs have been really bad. I’ve done chiropractor, massage, acupuncture and nothing stuck – plus I got tired of spending all that money on them. The first time I used the thera cane I almost cried!! Within about 20 minutes I was completely pain free. It’s been such a long time since I could move around w/o pain. Although the pain came back, with each session it gets less and the pain-free time gets longer. I believe I’ve broken the cycle. I just used it in the morning before work, then after work and then before bed. If your pain is muscle-related, the thera cane is well worth it!!

I use the thera cane every day and it has relieved a lot
of pain in my shoulder. I wish that I would have had it a lot
sooner.

I have used this cane for about 6 years. When I got it all my muscles were so tight I could hardly do anything without cramping up a muscle. The massage therapist would get bounced off muscles during deep muscle massage. It is the most useful and helpful tool I’ve ever owned. At first I cried while using it, any spot I touched was so tender and tight. But I kept at it and now I use it before muscles get too tight, at first hint of pain. I have osteoarthritis and fibromyalgia and in addition, had been through several severe emotional trauma’s. The loss of my daughter, grand-daughter, husband and brother, plus our family home & most of our pets (to fire), all in 13 months and I was still primary care giver to two teenage daughters. While I still suffer a lot of pain, it is not nearly as severe as it was then and I credit the theracane, rest and light exercise with the improvement. I ran out of money for private massage and any physical therapy that my insurance paid was 3.5 hours away so the theracane was & has become my best friend!!! I take it anytime I leave town and my worst fear is leaving it somewhere. I can tell you, I would go back and get it!!!! I still have fibro flares but I believe being aggressive with the trigger points (and tender spots, less aggressively but consistently) shortens the duration of the flares and it improves the quality of my sleep. I even have fibro in my face and use the shorter knobs on my eyebrow ridges and lightly on the trigger points in my jaw and cheeks. A little spendy here on Amazon but definitely worth the money!!! joyfully, Dianne

I’m only thirty, but I do hard work out on my farm as well as swimming. I was getting tight, knotted muscles in my back and shoulders that were restricting my movement and dully hurt. I’m single, though, so had no good way to get them out. I was looking for something to help when I came across these reviews and decided to buy a Theracane for myself. Oh, is it wonderful!
It’s very easy to use and easily got out all the knots in my muscles. Right after it was delivered, I spent about 30 minutes gently working the knots out of my shoulders and back while I watched TV. That felt so wonderful, so I worked the last knots out of my shoulders a little bit later that day. It felt so good to be free of stiffness and pain! I felt like I was fifteen again. I highly recommend this product.
